"The resurgence of a legacy, the birth of our nation"

From underground legend to visible movement: the spirit of Midnight lives on in Slide Nation.

Tell us about your brand

In the 1990s, while the world slept, a group of racers defied time and the law on Japanese highways. They weren't looking for fame. Or money. Or likes. Just mechanical perfection, driving honor, and pure speed. They called themselves the Midnight Club. They had a sacred code:

No mistakes. No accidents. No fear.

That wasn't a gang. It was a silent elite. Belonging wasn't something you bought. It was something you earned. Today, that spirit isn't dead. It's dormant. And Slide Nation is the vehicle to bring it back—not just to Japan, but to every city, every drift spot, every culture that truly breathes street.

We're not here to copy a legend. We're here to amplify his legacy.

Because we understand that what united them wasn't the car...it was the code. Respect among equals. Honor without room for error. And family , even in the midst of the chaos of the night.

Slide Nation isn't a fad. It's the reincarnation of respect in the form of style. It's the reconstruction of that code. It's the modern symbol of true brotherhood. It doesn't matter where in the world you race. If you understand the street, if you respect the art of drifting, and if you live with the engine beating in your blood...

You are already part of this Nation.

Kunimitsu Takahashi and Keiichi Tsuchiya: The Fathers of Drift

Two legends who transformed speed into art and asphalt into history.

Subheading

The spark that ignited drift culture

At Slide Nation, we don't follow trends; we follow codes . Our inspiration isn't born superficially, but from the true roots of Japanese automotive culture, from two men who forever changed the way we understand speed: Kunimitsu Takahashi and Keiichi Tsuchiya . They didn't just drive; they made history with every turn. From them, we inherited a passion for control, precision, and brotherhood on the road.

The silent pioneer

"Kunimitsu Takahashi"

Born in 1940, Kunimitsu Takahashi was the first pilot
Japanese to win a Grand Prix motorcycle race
(250cc, Germany, 1961). His two-wheel career promised glory, until an accident in 1962 took him away from motorcycles. But Takahashi didn't stop: he changed vehicles, not his destination . In motor racing, he shone in national and international championships, dominating
categories such as the All Japan Touring Car Championship and endurance races, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans . Its aggressive yet controlled cornering style, especially in rear-wheel drive, laid the groundwork for
what would later be recognized as drifting . Among those who saw him race was a young Keiichi Tsuchiya, who was impressed by his ability to make a car dance around corners without losing speed . Takahashi wasn't just a driver; he was an indirect teacher , an inspiration that lit a spark in an entire generation.

THE DRIFT KING

"Keiichi Tsuchiya"

Keiichi Tsuchiya was born in 1956 and grew up fascinated by street racing. With a Toyota AE86 as his constant companion, he began perfecting his technique of drifting on mountain roads ( touge ) at night. In the 80s and 90s, Tsuchiya took that technique to the professional track, breaking the unwritten rules of motorsport: turning drifting into a tool of spectacle and control , not just an emergency. His mastery was so absolute that he earned the nickname “Drift King” .

Beyond competitions, Tsuchiya popularized drifting worldwide through videos, exhibitions, and his participation in the anime Initial D , which turned the AE86 into a global icon. Thanks to him, drifting ceased to be a street trick and became a respected discipline .

The spirit that does not die

"From the track code to Slide Nation's DNA"

Takahashi taught that the curve is a conversation with the asphalt . Tsuchiya showed that this conversation could become a spectacle, a culture, a universal language. At Slide Nation, we've taken that legacy and transformed it into design.

Our garments aren't just premium streetwear pieces: they're symbols . The same care they put into fine-tuning a car, we put into every seam, every fabric, every detail. Each collection is like a well-executed race: thoughtful, precise, and full of character.
